So I just renewed my registration for my truck. ANyone ever read the instructions that come with the little sticker? Of course I'll be the only one amused by this, but I'm posting it anyway. First I draw your attention to "Step A".. . clean number plate...". NOw I draw your attention to "Step D" ... on REAR number plate".. That sucks.. I just cleaned off the front number plate..NO wonder there wasn't a sticker there already!! Brilliant!!

hee hee hee hee. I for one never noticed that either, although, in NY, our registration is under our inspection sticker on the windshield, so we didn't have this kind of confusion (the one and only time I may possibly be referring to myself as if I were a New Yorker)
It's okay... just put the sticker on the front plate and then you can switch the front plate with the rear plate, that way there's no more cleaning involved.
But first of all for the idiots out there who need those directions, they won't ever get past step C!! haha
I somehow missed the "rear plate" of step D completely back when I got my GrandAm.
Cop pulled me over all pissant-like, and had the ticket already written when he came to my window.
When I explained I had one he took a look at the front plate, told me it should be on the back and ticketed me for not wearing a seatbelt I had just taken off.
I learned two things that day:
Leave your seatbelt on, ability to reach the registration be damned!
&
Put the sticker on the back plate. (step D)
